My grandmother taught me to sew on her treadle machine. I made my first dress when I was eight and have been sewing ever since. I enjoy the sense of accomplishment felt when a collection of fabrics and notions becomes a one-of-a-kind garment, a home decor item or a gift for a grandchild or friend. I have been teaching sewing for 25 years and I love my job! Classes are held in a dedicated room in my home in Centerville, Ohio. Sewing classes offer your child the opportunity to build confidence, provide a creative outlet and teach a valuable life skill. I love to sew and to pass on the love of sewing to others.
